Reefer Technician (M/F) – Workshop Mississauga

Since 2002, KRYOS products have been distributed and sold all over Canada. The company has been part of the heavy vehicle refrigeration industry and specialised in small vans ( direct drive ) refrigeration units and insulated product as well since 1997. Our mission is to provide the Canadian market with an innovative and environmentally friendly solution for all its refrigeration needs from producer to customer.

We are currently looking for reefer technicians at our Mississauga location, ON.

Skills sought for de reefer technician

• Being thorough, paying attention to details and working cleanly is essential.
• 3 to 5 years experience as a transport refrigeration technician (direct drive and/or heavy truck units).
• Toolbox with basic tools required (bonus awarded).
• ODP certification (mandatory)
• Having a good sense of organization, be farsighted and have good manual skills.
• Any other certification (an asset).
• Be in good physical condition to be able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.

Task description

Under the supervision of our service manager, the reefer technicians will work within our service department. Candidates will work on incoming service calls, both on the road and in the shop. Among others, their tasks include:

• Travelling on the road with our service truck to manage incoming service calls;
• Able to perform trouble shooting, estimation and repairs in all in shop and over the road services calls;
• Install and uninstall refrigeration units on heavy trucks and direct drive product.
